This is a salaried position that reports to the VP of Project Management & Sales.
The Project Manager's primary responsibility is to develop and maintain client relationships through sales and profitability.
Requiring you to project manage all jobs that you estimate as well as other projects delegated by upper management. The position is a salaried position with paid commission.
Requires in depth knowledge of construction, reading plans, and how to estimate. The total sales volume would not exceed $8,000,000 annually.
Other important duties include (but are not limited too): representing company ethics and standards in all aspects of any professional relationship; being responsible for the client relationship in its entirety from initial sales call, recruiting clients through bidding, approving and issuing contracts, execution of scope, billing.
Project Managers report directly to the Vice President of Project Management and Sales.
Communication is the key to success. Timely and accurate communication within the Project Management Department is essential.
Knowing what and when to include your support and other teammates as well as upper management in problems, issues, and decisions is an elemental part of managing.
The Project Manager must ensure constant communication to each client according to that client's requirements and expectations to ensure smooth operations and build relationships.

Essential Functions:
Direct supervision of Project Engineers and coordination with Superintendents and Upper Management on all assigned projects.
Build and maintain relationships with clients through networking, communication, problem solving, and job walks and meetings.
Meet sales goals developed with upper management.
Maintain, develop, and initiate systems of the bidding and sales processes (with management approval).
Maintain, develop, and initiate systems for the entire project management process (with management approval).
Generate accurate budgets for all new projects and change orders by tracking costs and updating estimates based on available project information and enforce budgetary restraints.
Follow all quality control procedures to ensure every job is up to standard.
Develop and distribute punch lists and work with Superintendents to complete in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships to ethics and standards.
Negotiate pricing and issue contracts as required.
Approve and oversee all payments.
Ensure all billings meet client's schedules and are otherwise timely and accurate
Contact client for collections as required
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
5+ years' Project Management experience in commercial construction.
Proven track record of success in growing client relationships and managing jobs to meeting budgets and profitability.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or another relevant field is desirable.
Good driving record
Language Skills:
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Must be able to communicate via traditional electronic media such as telephones, email, and text.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and understand plans/layouts/prints/specifications.
